100 Miles
This series developed from small studies recalling the sensation of being a passenger in a car moving 100miles an hour.
There is an intangibility to the forms and how that landscape flashes past you as a passenger. In that speed sometimes you are catching a glimpse of something tangible, or, wondering if you had. I am enjoying the visceral effect and the invitation of imagination as the eye finds its own forms and shapes to build from.
I am working with palette knives to lay a tapestry of paint.
